For Danni's 4th birthday I decided to rent out Playland, a jungle gym type of place that rents out party rooms. I made up invitiations for all of her classmates and managed to get about 8 of her friends to come. We went to Playland and everybody had fun playing in the jungle gym. Danielle was seated at the "Queen's Chair" as she was the birthday girl. Like usual she made out like a bandit with regards to gifts and all of her friends helped tear open the presents.
Danielle was looking for a "My Sized Barbie" which was one of the toys she really wanted (and her mom had gotten that but was going to give it to her later at a Flood family party). She had gotten a couple of My Sized Barbie outfits and I think she figured out that she was gonna get the doll too.
Playland is a pretty good place to have a child's birthday party but since it's open to the public at that time too it was a little hectic with everybody there. Over all I'd say it was a success and fun was had by all. I'm still waiting for Danni to be over 40 lbs so that the car seat is no longer required.
