 100                               <p>Needed to uninstall MySQL 4.0 and download and install MySQL 3.23.58 from <a href="http://www.mysql.com">MySQL.com</a> onto sonslinux as well as change the group named <i>nogroup</i> to <i>nobody</i> for the Apache server to start. SAM 4 Linux now works on sonslinux (with Mandrake Linux installed). The packaging for this is not at all that streamlined but I believe it was a first shot.</p>

 125                               <p>I have downloaded the sam4linux tarbar and have been attempting to get it running on sonslinux (running Mandrake 9.1). I unpacked the tgz file into /opt and tried running sam-startnms.sh. I was prompted for the license file and attempted to use the license file but it didn't work. The licenses have expired.

 366                               <p>Our code is not case sensistive. This problem exhibits it's ugly head a lot in sam4linux BTW. In Dylan's case an include of cli_enumStruct.c was being done but the file is named cli_enumstruct.c. Now on most Windows Clearcase installations I had set MVFS to be case insensitive but on Dylan's machine he had it set case sensitive.

 538                               <p>Since the testing involves expect and TCL I thought it would be good to find a good debugger. My stuff is getting complicated and a debugger would sure help. It would also help engineers writting tests. Unfortunately these debuggers work with TCL and get tripped up with expect functions.</p>

 540 <p>SUT stands for System Under Test. If this environment variable is set then you no longer need to specify -m &lt;<i>IPAddress</i>&gt; to invoke a test or to run tester. Handy.</p>
